Alex's Reveal by lycanthropful Although Alex is able to hide his lycanthropy from those close to him at first, it eventually catches up to him and he's forced to reveal what happened to his concerned and nervous parents.
An Unexpected Guest by Kekswolf With his hunger building, Alex hears and then sees Shane entering his backyard, with a slab of meat in his paw. Only when Shane is let into the house is he allowed to have it. Book Club by Kigai Holt One among a few non-canon scenes from Werewolf Tale. At Angela's suggestion, Alex reads part of New Moon out loud. The result is what is depicted here. When a cover design for Werewolf Tale was being considered, this piece and the scene it depicted stuck out the most to me.

Caught at Night by lycanthropeful The day after revealing the truth to his parents, Alex wakes to find his werewolf hunger resurfacing. With his parents still unaware of this, he attempts to deal with it without them knowing. Forced Submission by lycanthropful In the finale of Werewolf Tale, Alex confronts Shane about the actions he took on the night he was bitten. When his emotions boil over and cause offense to Shane, he's snarled into a crouch and held down, long enough for Shane to give him a piece of his mind. Heirarchy by KigaiHolt Another non-canon scene, this time of Alex and Shane after a successful hunt. With Shane being the one who brought down the mare, he refuses to let Alex feed until he's finished.
It's Still Me by thesilvermist On the night of his first shift, Alex's German Shepherd, Bailey, witnessed most of the event. Despite his hope that his pet knew it was still him, Bailey's fearful aggression kept Alex away for the rest of the day. This was the first official commission for Werewolf Tale, and remains a favorite of mine. Although very hungry, Alex is reluctant to take it, believing it will come with some kind of catch. (This scenario has remained a favorite since the chapter for it was written.) Shane shows up at the restaurant where Alex and his friends are hanging out, putting Alex on the defensive and at risk of fully shifting. One of my favorite scenes from the novel, and pieces of art for it as well.

Whether true or not, he doesn't want to risk losing it.
Werewolf Tale II by Wolnir Acting as a guide for Alex, this demostrates the general theme for the sequel to Werewolf Tale. Alex still being unsure of his new-found abilities and Shane coming to terms with his need to mentor Alex in how to properly hunt and survive.
